European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) covers all Member States and invests under all European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) thematic objectives. It has a strong focus on 4 key priority areas: Research and Innovation, Digital Economy, SME Competitiveness and Low Carbon Economy. The visualisations of the finances and achievements below present major elements of the ERDF investment story 2014-2020.
The ERDF also finances Interreg – cross-border, transnational and interregional co-operation under the Territorial Co-operation objective.
