European Social Fund Plus (ESF+)
The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) 2021-2027 is the main EU instrument for investing in people with an initial allocation of EUR 98 billion available for programming. Under the "More Social and Inclusive Europe" policy objective it helps people find employment or create businesses, supports disadvantaged groups, improves education and makes public services more efficient. ESF+ also integrates the priorities supported in 2014-2020 under the Youth Employment Initiative (YEI) and the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD). Learn more about the ESF+ on this webpage.
